Why the Devil is Just Throwing a Fit (and Why That Matters to You)
Have you ever played a game with someone who, once they knew they were losing, flipped the board and stormed off? It’s frustrating, childish—and a perfect picture of the spiritual battle we’re in.
Here’s the wild truth:
The enemy of your soul isn’t just fighting. He’s flailing. He knows he’s lost. Jesus settled it on the cross, stripped him of his authority, and handed that victory to us. (See Colossians 2:15)
But that doesn’t mean life feels easy.
So why do we still struggle?
Because Satan is defeated—but not destroyed yet. Revelation 20:10 gives us a glimpse of his future (spoiler: it’s fiery), but for now? He’s trying to cause as much chaos as possible.
And here's the good news…
You don’t fight alone.
Romans 8:37 reminds us: “In all these things, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
You’re not fighting for victory—you’re fighting from it.
So what do we do?
We stop walking in fear.
We remember who we are.
We claim the freedom already won.
We stop reacting and start reclaiming.
Want your kids to see a different legacy? Walk in victory.
Want to break cycles of addiction, fear, and insecurity? Walk in victory.
Want to be a light at work, in your home, and in your community? Walk in victory.
Not by your strength. But by the One who already crushed your enemy underfoot.
And when the enemy tries to flip the board in your life? Smile.
You already won.
