Working in the Wait: Why Delay Isn’t Denial
We live in a fast-paced world, but God moves at the speed of eternity.
One of the hardest parts of following Jesus is waiting—especially when we’re in pain. Whether you're waiting for a job, healing, breakthrough, or even just peace, the temptation is to think God has forgotten you. But here's the truth: delay doesn’t mean denial. It often means development.
In 1 Peter 5:6, we're told to humble ourselves under God's mighty hand. That same hand shaped galaxies—and it’s shaping you. When He doesn’t move on your timeline, it’s because He’s working a better one. One that transforms you from the inside out.
You might feel like you're stuck, but you're actually under construction. God is building strength, endurance, and wisdom in you—so that when the “proper time” comes, you’re ready to handle the blessing without it crushing you.
So while you wait, work. Encourage someone. Serve someone. Grow in your faith. Don’t waste the wait.
And remember, He cares for you. That’s not a cliché—it’s the foundation of our hope. A God who cares deeply, personally, and actively is always on time—even if we don’t understand the clock.
